Update

This morning the General Assembly had been discussing issues happening in
Iran. The US delegate revealed that his country is contemplating to invade Iran, which arouses a strong reaction by the French delegate - condemning the US statement concerning Iran.



What happened in the world:
- Turkey troops are still in northern Iraq
- Iraqi Parliament rejected the renewal of the UN Multinational Forces to Iraq - the Iraqi Council of Ministers overruled them
- Later this day it emerged that an assassination attempt took place on the life of the President of the Iraqi Parliament - his status is still unconfirmed
- Southern Iraq - major unrest (according to unconfirmed information fostered by Iran)
